With Scoop.it, you can easily curate articles and websites for students on specific topics, and you can let students comment on the articles. Scoop.it is suitable primarily for use within the monological and the dialogical form of teaching.
Within the monologic form of teaching, Scoop.it can be used to distribute articles on different subjects to students. You can create multiple boards (topics), so you can create one for each subject. Scoop.it allows you to enter keywords, and you will be able to find suggestions for news articles, which may be relevant. You can also follow other users of Scoop.it, such as colleagues, and're-scoope ' the articles they have shared. Articles can also be saved to a board with Scoop.its 'bookmarklet', which functions as a button in the favorite line of the browser. If you come across a relevant article online, one can easily ' scoope ' it to its board by using bookmarklet'en.
Within the dialogical form of teaching Scoop.it can be used as the students' problem-solving platform. When the teacher adds an article to her board, she can add a comment to it. It could for instance be in the form of questions related to the article. Students can then add their answers to the questions in the comments to the article, and they can comment on each other's answers to the questions.

Sidengo is a free tool for producing and publishing websites. With Sidengo it is quick and easy to create a website for a class, or to let students create their own websites. Sidengo is suitable for use within the monological and the dialogical form of teaching.
In the monologic form of teaching, Sidengo can be used to inform students about professional subjects or to distribute practical messages. The teacher can post articles, videos and documents on the webiste she has created in Sidengo, and it can function as the teachers' distribution platform.
In the dialogical form of teaching Sidengo can be used as a platform for students' productions. The students' media- and text productions can be posted on their individual websites, and by using the same website over time, it may function as the student's personal portfolio. It is easy for students to import media from services like SoundCloud, Vimeo and YouTube.

Symbaloo is a visually based tool for managing and sharing links to websites and online resources. It gives the teacher the opportunity to curate collections of relevant links for students. The tool is suitable for use within a monological form of teaching.
In the monologic form of teaching, Symbaloo can act as a teacher's collection of links for students. It might be a good idea with a common link collection when, students are to seek information about a particular topic. By bringing together the most significant sites and resources on the topic in one place, the teacher can ensure, that students have a common ground to work from – regardless of their ability to search information on the Web. In this manner, Symbaloo may serve as a tool for filtering and curating the flow of information to the students.
When you have created a collection of links on Symbaloo, be shared easily with students – either by sharing with all Symbaloo users, or by sharing it with only specific users. It provides the ability to create a home page for a class or a subject, as well as it gives the opportunity to let learners create their own home pages and letting them edit these together. Weebly is best suited for use within a monological or a polyphonic form of teaching.
In the monologic form of teaching, Weebly can be used by the teacher to inform learners about professional issues or to distribute practical messages. A website created with Weebly can be used as the teacher's knowledge- and information platform, from which knowledge and information is communicated to the learners. For example, articles, and videos, soundclips and documents can be posted on the page, as well as registering for events and excursions can be managed here. There can also work together cooperatively on the maintenance of a Web site; a group of learners can have responsibility for maintaining the various subpages.
In the polyphonic form of teaching Weebly can be used as a team's or a group's common knowledge- and information platform – so as a common wiki. By assigning the learners rights to edit the page, one will achieve that they collaborate on writing content for the website.. One can also let the learners work together on creating subpages on various topics, and one can create a blog, where the learners can write their thoughts on certain matters, and comment on each other's thoughts.
